On March 20th, we deployed two teams of volunteers to transport elderly patients from their retirement homes to hospitals. By now we have deployed three crews of nurses and paramedics, supervised by a doctor; we have joined efforts with the Armed Forces and Firemen to recognize and assist retirement homes where over 90% of the residents are infected. On many occasions we have found deceased bodies as funerary services could simply not cope. In total we have supervised 18 retirement homes and transported 106 patients.
