Individual protection equipment is so scarce that SAMU decided to start making face mask as early as March 19th. After an overwhelming response for job openings, Nowadays we employ 12 workers to produce face masks, protective overalls and head screens. These masks have been distributed to our own personnel, collaborating institutions and even neighbouring communities unable to find any masks. This initiative also provides material to penitentiary institutions to sow protective aprons used in intermediate exposure environments.
