SAMU First Response Launches Home Base Initiative to Support Vulnerable Families in Maryland
Maryland, USA – SAMU First Response is proud to announce its Home Base Initiative, a program designed to directly support families in vulnerable situations across Maryland. Every week, SAMU First Response visits these families to assist with specific needs, such as food, clothing, transportation, and providing vital information on health, education, and other essential services.
The Home Base Initiative is a crucial effort to bring aid to those who need it most. By visiting families in their homes, SAMU First Response ensures that support reaches people where they are, making it easier for them to access resources that can improve their quality of life and promote long-term stability.
“We are bringing help directly to those who need it most,” said Marisela Castillo, Outreach Manager at SAMU First Response. “The Home Base Initiative is about meeting families where they are and providing them with the tools and resources they need to overcome challenges and build a brighter future.”
The program addresses the immediate needs of families while also connecting them with information and services that can help them thrive in the long run. SAMU First Response’s goal is to empower families by providing them with the support they need to improve their circumstances and build a more stable foundation for the future.
SAMU First Response remains committed to reaching those in need and offering assistance tailored to their unique situations. Through initiatives like the Home Base Initiative, the organization continues to make a meaningful difference in communities across Maryland.
