Juan González de Escalada

Juan González de Escalada Álvarez is a Computer Science Major, Former Technology Entrepeneur, turned into a Emergency Response Manager and Instructor. Doubling as COO and Board member of a family owned multinational organization, active in the Emergency Response and Humanitarian Aid sector and with multiple international missions in Asia, America, Africa and Europe.

Juan Escalada owns an International Master’s in Business Administration by Georgetown  University, a Master´s in Secondary Education from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville, Spain), as well as a Computer Science Major from University of Maryland.

He is leading the Certification Process for SAMU´s Emergency Response Team within the WHO EMT initiative, As well as the USA operations for Displaced Families in Washington DC through a project with the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA).

Juan was raised in Seville, Spain, but spent 11 years of his early professional life around the East Coast between Maryland, Virginia and DC. He currently resides in Seville with his wife and two kids and “commutes” often to the USA.
