Robinson Alfonso Sanchez Giraldo is a Colombian and born in the state of Quibdó, Chocó, but with roots in the Paisa region. He was raised in the city of Medellín and adopted all of its customs. He comes from a large family; with 18 aunts and uncles on his mother’s side, and nine aunts and uncles on his father’s side. Both of his parents are still alive and he has two brothers and one sister. He has a very stable home that he is very proud of, having been married for 21 years with two adult children. His daughter is 23-years-old and his son, 19-years-old. He came to the United States with his entire family in search of a better future and peace of mind.

He is a Systems Engineer from the University of Medellín and has practiced this profession for more than 20 years in different sectors (Services, Manufacturing, Finance, and Nonprofit). He is known for being a sociable, cheerful, and helpful person who like challenges and always strives to find solutions to needs.
