Non profit work is challenging, and so is fundraising. There is great work provided by NGOs around the world and funding is usually scarce.
With the recent boom of online campaign tools, it has become harder to identify causes and entities to contribute. Causes that you can connect with, and believe in the impact of their work. As SAMU Foundation grows, in order to support our international missions, we are looking for special individuals to promote what we do, to serve as our Ambassadors. The mission of our Ambassador is to increase awareness about our work, experiences and purpose. To improve our exposure and support our storytelling.
If you are a mission driven individual, looking for ways to collaborate when catastrophes arrive, we would love to have you on our team.
Ambassador Responsibilities:
- Share SAMU’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter posts at least weekly. Comment, share and like our posts.
- Distribute SAMUs fundraising campaigns as they arise among friends, family, co-workers and social media groups.
- Ambassadors will have access to our online informational resources, including a downloadable power point presentation, reference materials and monthly magazines.
SAMU will recognize Ambassadors on our website, in newsletters and through social media, as well as it will provide other support as needed.
